When formulating our products, we always include the most proven active ingredients that, as dentists, we know will improve the health of your teeth and gums. However, the lining of your mouth is one of the most absorbent areas of your body so we keep ingredients to a minimum and as naturally sourced as possible. Our products do not contain SLS, parabens, DEA, propylene glycol or triclosan which are, unfortunately, still found in many of the larger oral care brands. As dentists, our responsibility is to protect your oral health without compromising your, or your families, overall health.
Made By Dentists
As dentists, we are so keenly aware of the decades of research that goes into an ingredient being proven to be effective.
We simplified the ingredient list by only including the best quality, most biocompatible ingredients suitable for professional use.
Our range of products combines the latest advances in oral care research with the highest quality of ingredients available.
As dentists, we know that the lining of your mouth is one of the most absorbent parts of your body so what toothpaste you use really does matter.
We Love PCR
Over ONE BILLION toothpaste tubes end up in landfill or the ocean every year, in the U.S. alone, because most tubes are made from a cheap type of laminate plastic making them impossible to recycle. That means that almost every toothpaste tube that has ever been made is still on the planet somewhere. Our toothpaste tubes are made with PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) material, meaning they are made with recycled plastic and are fully recyclable.
Most of the big toothpaste companies in the world, unfortunately, still test on animals and a lot of toothpastes actually contain animal based ingredients. At Made by Dentists, we don't test on animals and we don't contain animal by-products, but we're not alone. Other oral care companies that share our values include Tom's of Maine, Hello, Dr. Bronner and Jason. The more we can support these companies, the more pressure it puts on bigger companies to stop testing on animals and to become vegan friendly.
